Athena International Publishing relies on peer review for all its publications to uphold the quality and validity of published work. The process of evaluation and peer review for these proceedings has been as follows:

• The conference organizer submitted a proceedings proposal form to Athena International Publishing for evaluation.
• The proceedings proposal was reviewed by our Content Selection and Advisory Committee (CSAC) consisting of senior researchers in the relevant field.
• The CSAC accepted the proposal based on an evaluation of technical characteristics in five different areas: (1) scientific character; (2) international character; (3) validation of conference website; (4) validation of conference scope and standing; and (5) validation of editorial procedure.
• The peer review process for individual articles was the responsibility of the conference organizer and managed by the Volume Editor(s) of the proceedings. The type of peer review conducted for these proceedings was double-blind, meaning that the names of Reviewers were hidden from the Authors and vice versa (i.e. both the Reviewers and the Authors were anonymous). Each article was reviewed by three independent reviewers.
• Accepted papers were submitted to the publisher where various additional checks (technical check, scope check, plagiarism check, etc.) were performed, after which the CSAC performed a final check on the scientific quality of the articles before approving them for production.
• The proceedings were published online after review and approval of the final version by the conference organizer.
